Great deal.... I bought this same phone in January, for $89.95 plus tax, but with only 1200 minutes. This is certainly a better value, for $10 less plus 300 more minutes.

Phone is huge, 5.5" screen, barely fits in my back pocket. This replaced my Samsung Galaxy Sky, which has a 5" super Amoled screen. The Amoled screen is way brighter and vivid in color, plus has an outdoor mode. The Fiesta 2's screen is okay and acceptable, if I had a choice I'd prefer the Amoled screen.

Also, the Sky has a physical home button, the Fiesta 2 has it incorporated into the screen. So when viewing, some of the larger screen on the Fiesta 2 is the return, home, and recent view buttons on the bottom. When I watch a video, then it does go into the full 5.5 inch mode.

The 13mp rear camera is an improvement over the previous 5mp.

Overall, I have gotten used to this screen, and would recommend this purchase just for the minutes. That alone is worth more than $80 + tax in most states.

What is the screen resolution 720p or 1080p?

I agree that the original Samsung Sky had a good screen, but the newest version is awful in my opinion. I purchased one in January and the color rendering was terrible. Also, it gave me eyestrain and headaches. In February my wife bought this LG Fiesta 2 phone and while the screen isn't great, it's much better than the new Sky.

Does this phone have a notification LED to show missed texts? Will this phone let you do group texting?

Their is an app you can use for free that will display a light on your phone to let you know if you missed a call or a text message. Its called NoLED. It should work for any phone. Its in the app store.

These are great deals for people who don't use their phone much. The phone alone is near worth this price despite all the complaining on here.

Just giving helpful tips for those who are not familiar with the Fiesta 2.

$80 for the service alone is great, plus you get a phone to boot.

I told some friends on mine about this. After watching the "Live Presentation Video" they were sold. The 1500 minutes & 1 year of service alone is worth $125.. This is a Verizon phone. All for $80. Comes out to less than $7 a month..
