The MPH-4 is a professional over-the-ear monitoring headphone featuring extended frequency response with noise-isolating earcups. The precise cavity design is perfectly matched to the 50mm drivers for superb audio performance. The leather headband is ventilated on the inner side for added comfort. Designed for tracking, mixing, and critical monitoring.

FEATURES

Studio-level performance and accurate sonic imaging
Noise-isolating over-ear design
Plush ear cushions for extended comfort
50mm drivers with extended frequency response
Manganese steel construction for durability
What are your thoughts on these cans? Are they clones of another model? They look like a new model to me with no reviews. I checked Marantz's site and the MPH-2 show in the legacy section so I'm not sure if these replace them or not.

Edit: These looks similar but do have some differences. https://www.amazon.com/Headphones...00NTWPFSS/

MPH-2 are a (one of many) rebadged ISK MDH9000 which is good at that price range.

If these are the same they are decent cans for the price.

I don't think these are the mph-2 unless they have the same drivers. When I check the specs on Marantz's site they are different.

Thank you! They do look the same and the specs are the same. A review on headfi is positive.

These are a re-badged ISK HP2010 which are also sold under the Freeboss brand.

See: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KZ238SS/

They are good cans, and, when combined with a V-Moda Boom Pro or other attachable mic, are much better than pretty much every video-gaming headset in this price bracket.

Treat them as the same tier as a closed back equivalent of the Philips SHP-9500.

Do you know of a video that shows how to replace the earpads?

EDIT: Nvm, looks easy enough to come apart. I guess just measuring it myself works.

I see most of the sleuthing has been done before me but these also remind me of QPAD QH90 build wise.

Yes. These have much better definition. These were originally designed as an even cheaper version of the Takstar Pro80.

My Gemini HSR1000 (rebadged Takstar Pro 80) are great. A surprisingly worthy and cheaper alternative is the Oneodio adapter free that was on here recently.

If these really are like Takstar 80, people should jump to get them.
