Sony WH1000XM2 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones. $250 + free shipping from massdrop. The deal was mention previous in the buydig deal but that deal is dead.

Massdrop is not allowed to advertise a lower price than the MAP price ($349.99)

At checkout you will be able to activate a $100 Discount on your choice of the Black or Gold version of this product. So to get the $250 you have to go to checkout and select a color.

Shipping
Domestic orders will be shipped by the vendor.

Estimated ship date is Mar 16, 2018 PT.
After the drop ends, payment will be collected and the group's order will be submitted to the vendor up front, making all sales final. Check the discussion page for updates on your order.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I don't think wearing this while driving public transportation is a good idea.

This is the M2. Doesn't have that problem. Also, cracking was limited to certain serial numbers.

I realize this is only my anecdotal experience but these are a solid purchase for wireless noise cancelling cans. While I prefer my QC35s for comfort these have a much sharper and more balanced sonic signature. As for the durability, in my year of owning the gen1s I never had any issues but if you are worried the Best Buy Geek Squad Protection or Amazon warranties might serve you well as a previous commenter suggested. Massdrop has been solid in my buying experience as well too. This is a good price from a good vendor for a top3 wireless ANC set.

I've never used massdrop, but it seems like a legit site. Tax in most states?

Wouldn't touch it. Spend the extra $62 and get the 2 year coverage from Amazon so you have recourse when the headband cracks and sony refuses to cover.

Massdrop is a legit site, it just gets agreements with manufacturers of products on lower prices, in which after a drop ends, Massdrop sends the manufacturer shipping information for them to coordinate shipping, which is why there is often a lead time from when drops end and when products are shipped.

There's 7.25% tax in California, but the site is legit and I've purchased watches from them previously and received it 3 days after the indicated ship date, but shipping is dependent on the manufacturer of a specific drop, as Massdrop doesn't produce or typically ship anything themselves unless it's their custom collaboration SKU products.

The site is legit. The have been around for a while now. I just ordered a pair and live in cali. They charged 18 and cents for tax.
