Looks like it is the 27MD5KA-B version (not the 27MD5KB-B).

Can you elaborate? What is the difference?

27MD5KA-B is an earlier consumer/retail model. It came with 1 year warranty. Depending on the manufacture date it may or may not have an improved shielding to protect against wireless interference. If you get an earlier "unprotected" model you might be able to get LG replace it under recall.

27MD5KB-B is a later business/commercial model, therefore it came with 3 year warranty. All 27MD5KB-B units have an improved shielding.

Other than those differences - those are pretty much the same monitors.

In layman's terms. If this monitor was around 2 feet range of a wireless access point/router, it would interfere with it due to lack of shielding. It might not be an issue you would normally come across if your wireless router is further away.
