MSRP on this board was $249.99
Granted, this is expensive for a z370 board, but this is a good price for this board.

Beware Gigabyte uses inferior VRM's and have the worst isues like heating. I'd go with Asrock as this is freakin expensive for a Z370 mobo. Be warned!

This board has one of the best VRMs in the z370 line up. It has $50 worth of mosfets alone. Some boards during its initial release had spacers, which tolerances were off. In those early boards the heatsink wouldn't make full contact with the VRM. I haven't heard of any new complaints in months and most problems were fixes by tightening the screws on the heatsinka. My Gaming 7 works awesome. ASRock has some great mid tier boards, though the Taichi is the only one that can come close and the Gaming 7 is still better. This is a decent price.

That's wut I've heard. MSI Tomahawk and Carbon are the solid mobos! Even heard not so great reviews of Asrock although the Extreme 4 is good value. But I never buy a mobo more than $100 for my builds....
