Really good deal! I almost wonder if it's a Chinese knock-off or something.

I'm lightly puzzled too. I thought it might be a garden tool at first, but it's evidently knife or bladed tool of some sort. The head appears to have a similar profile to a harpoon head (yes, the name appears descriptive) so that when jabbing it into an appropriately sized critter the skin and tissue immediately past it will be pushed aside by the wide end of the blade, the tissue then springing back embedding the single wicked barb. Pulling it out would substantially increase the amount of damage, unless you lined it up perfectly with the orientation it had when it entered. This is great if you want the blade and shaft hanging in a whale you plan to track, but doing it to a person strikes me as just nasty, and more than likely demonstrating an intent to cause worse harm than usual (not the kind of excuse I want to give an overactive DA if I skewer an attacker). Maybe I'm just not imaginative enough to figure out a practical use.

It appears it can be worn as a neck knife.
You could build a small handle if you want (there's a video on YouTube on a comparison of such neck knives, and one had short handle.

Also, I like your observation about the "increased damage" pulling this thing out. It would be safe to assume, that the friendship is long over after you drive this this thing into something/someone in case of self defense. 😁 So, by all means pull this thing out... Heck rotate it a minimum 30 degrees. 😀

Actually plan to get a concealed carry once I can make the time (single dad). I'm commented because as a practical knife it strikes me as limited (I keep my knives pretty sharp, so I cannot imagine having a neck knife), and as I said the entire "intent" bit could land you in trouble. Yes, if you are using a knife in self-defense and know what you are doing, it's not really going to make a difference since you'll rip with the knife anyway, If an overactive DA decided to go after you, he could try to shoehorn that kind of stupid claim anyway. Also, and more significant, in the damage lawsuit afterwards with a preponderance of evidence, that could REALLY cause you a world of pain. There's a reason why so many of the questionable police shootings (and most are not for the record) end up with the huge damage claims. Reasonable doubt vs. preponderance of evidence. Like OJ Simpson.

OK guys... this is hilarious.

I received my order today, in a disproportionately big box... and No TOPS knives.... nada!!!!
Instead, I got 4 insulation tees ..... woohoo!!!
Needless to say, I called ZORO, and asked for a complete refund. Which they were more than glad to arrange. And I don't even have to waste my time returning these.

Try to wear these bad boys around your neck... they would make Flavor Flav blush in shame.

You know, as the old saying goes, if it looks too good to be true.. it is too good to be true.
