I used to have moderate acne for years. From the age of 13 til 30. The kind that were deep and took a loooong time to come to head. I've tried the cheap brushes (oil of Olay), I've tried the oil cleansing method, I've tried expensive facial products and prescription strength topical face creams. Nothing worked until I bit the bullet and tried Clarisonic. It changed my life. I can wake up in the morning and just wash my face without needing foundation and it has definitely helped me with my confidence, especially when you're in your 30s and still dealing with acne! Anyway, my point is comments like the one above me do nothing for people who are on the fence and are desperate but still haven't tried Clarisonic brushes because it's expensive. It is costly but one brush to help with no longer dealing with acne is something I'm willing to pay for. I know I sound like a shill but I have no affliation with Clarisonic, just someone who knows what having acne is like.

It's true that these devices are expensive even at discounted prices, and you will have to spend more to purchase brush heads. But this makes a clear difference for your face especially if you wear make-ups. I doubt that still there are people without these devices unless they don't care about cosmetics at all.

I've had a Clarisonic for over five years. It just recently broke when I dropped it in the shower. As a man, even without dealing with makeup, I still feel like it really helped the skin on my face. When I traveled without it, I would quickly notice how rough my skin would get, and how the dry skin builds up on my face. Yes, the prices seem crazy high for a face scrubber, but I'd still rate it five stars because it does it's job very well. If you've been thinking about getting one, this seems like a pretty good price. While I loved my Clarisonic, I did just pick up a $40 Conair knock off from Costco. I've only used it once, so it's too soon to say how it compares.

yes, this helps clear up pores. also not affiliated with clarisonic. this has helped a lot with my blackheads. i still have some trouble with my whiteheads, but it absolutely helps overall.

yes, this will help to keep your skin clean and unclog pores... but if you have breakouts, you should try to monitor when they happen... for many people it could be from wheat or dairy or excessive stress or other dietary/lifestyle factors. if you find out what does it you can exclude that from your life.

Great product, I ended up using it more than my wife did. Our Mia 1 died after a few years so I picked up a replacement. After using it for a couple weeks my skin no longer felt and visibly looked oily as the day progressed.

The instructions inside say every 3 months. You can actually get knock off replacement heads on amazon for much cheaper than the Clarisonic ones that are comparable to the ones you get from Clarisonic.

So many different choices I don't know what to get. I'm a male with no acne, which is the best one for cleaning pores and for blackheads?
