this is the best deal by far after last BF.

after promo code AFEMPSPV65, price can hit $64.99, pretty good for a dual band AC1750 router.

Thanks OP. Most importantly, this thing has firmware update for Kracks WPA2 vulnerability. Time to move on from my RT-N16 Frown

I have the v2 and v3 versions. OpenWRT works on my V2; DD-WRT works on my V3.

Am trying to find a solid router for a relatively little amount of money for someone (less than 100) - was hoping for another deal on the Tmo/Asus ac1900 router but not seeing anything new or from a good seller for that price right now. How is this as an alternative?

I have both the TMO AC1900 and the Archer C7. Both have been rock solid for me. I find the C7 has better range.

I have this router and my only complaint is the range has always seemed pretty poor for me. Is there anything I could try to improve that?

Very good router for home use, 2 years and everything works perfectly, no reboots needed, decent coverage

The refurbished C8 is $45 and has been on sale for $34 in the past.

How does it compare to the C7?

This is and oldie but a goodie. The standard for value oriented long range AC router since it came out. Still got two in my house right now as access points
