FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS ONLY
IN STORE ONLY

For the month of March (So I was told) MetroPCS is giving the Alcatel 4G LTE Linkzone MW41 Hotspot WiFi for free (Reg $50)
All you have to pay is the first months service of $35 for 10gb of data. You can turn this device on or off at will with MetroPCS with no activation fees so you don't have to pay $35/month.

4G LTE enabled
Connect up to 15 devices, including tablets, laptops, gaming consoles and more.
Easy setup through web interface or Alcatel LINK APP.
Long-lasting 1800mAh battery with up to 6 hours of continuous usage.

I bought mine at a corporate store so I don't know what authorized dealers will charge (probably activation fees and sim card fees etc, sadly)

This is unlockable. It is a GSM device. I do not know how or have not looked to have it unlocked. My neighbors is unlocked.

$35 OTD and it's yours forever. Even the reps will confirm that you can activate and deactivate at will, or use as needed. Unused data does not carry over.

After the 10 gigs is used up, it will just stop, I was told. Not throttle down so you have to call to add more data.
+2GB $5
+4GB $!0
+6GB $15

Have fun, it's free, light weight and pocket sized.

This device can be unlocked to be used at Cricket Wireless? I had 4 lines in metro, But i switched 3, and left One in metro because I want to get the S8 deal, so do you think if I get this device at my MetroPCS account and then switch my remaining line to Cricket, will I be able to unlock the hotspot and use it at Cricket? I know all the restrictions about tethering I am just asking

I got this device because I figured $35 was a bargain for the device + 1 month service, but I don't think it can be unlocked -

I tried several of the codes for sale on ebay and none worked , Under metroPCS unlocking policy would need 90 days active service to get the unlock code., and since this doesn't have a device unlock app or anything I suspect that paying for one month like the android phones wont work.

I got this as a new customer from an authorized dealer kiosk at the mall. I ported one number and received three iPhone SEs and the Linkzone for $125 for the first month's service for all four. Can you explain what you mean by turning on and off with MetroPCS? So, if I drop the Linkzone for month two, are you saying I can add it back on later when I might need it? I plan to keep the iPhones active for three months to unlock them. If I port them out after that, can I still use the Linkzone, even if I don't have an active phone on the account? Thanks!

The deal looks to be over now. I thought it would go until the end of the month. Should have acted faster.

You should be able to add tethering (10GB) to a line with the recent unlimited deals for $10/month. You can check your dashboard to see if that add-on is available or call customer service.

This deal is still good, I just got one. As stated in the OP, deal is IN STORE only and through the end of March. There were no additional charges or fees, just $35 for the first month.

Just today I was on the phone with metro pcs customer service and no, you cannot use tge hotspot , there has to be an active phone line on the account also. I had 2 lines on metro pcs a few month's ago , I went in person to a local authorized dealer to get all the information I needed to port out to cricket the following day..staff was well aware that as of the next day my phone service would no longer be with metro but they assured me that It would not be an issue, that as long as I activated the hotspot while my account was still active it would be fine..I PREPAID FOR A MONTH OF SERVICE FOR 35.00, by the time I got home it was late and the next morning I attempted to set it up and couldn't,,,no record of anything even tho I had a receipt, phone number for the device, a SIM card and did I mention RECEIPT....nope they won't credit it or do anything about it....u cannot turn it on and off at will and they are not at all helpful in resolving anything...i have no idea if it's good service,,,I didn't get any, they just stole my money
