I'd buy this if it has the foot pedals. I understand those cost a great deal more though.
Yea, try $1800+ more.

Not a bad little kayak - and sometimes Field and Stream puts their Eagle Talon fishing kayak [fieldandstreamshop.com] on sale. I got mine for around $320 after a coupon and during a sale they had a couple of years ago. But this Lifetime would be a lot of fun for the money!

The tan version of the Lifetime is showing $220 for me.

Anyone used these right at their weight limit? I'm 6' 4" 275lb. I should be down another 20-30lbs in a couple months when I head to florida for some surf fishing but bet I'd still be close to the limit with gear.

Like others said. The tan is cheaper at $220.

Also, the Tahoma is $175 and is the same kayak but without the fishing related add-ons.

I would not advise that. But check youtube, im sure there are some videos to give you an idea. This is a pretty popular entry level fishing yak, so some googling should get you the tight answer.

I have two of these. They are solid beginner kayaks. Great value. Had some trouble with Wal-Mart's in store pickup. Took a lot longer to be delivered than expected and then got lost in the store (I know right? How do you lose a 10' kayak?) Just be ready.
