Microcenter has the SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit on sale in store for $119.99 or $109.99 (individual store prices vary) ( a $130-$140 savings) PLUS a free water leak sensor included. This kit includes:
  • SmartThings v2 2.0 Hub
  • 1 Smart Outlet
  • 2 Door/Window Multipurpose Sensors
  • 1 Motion Sensor
  • 1 Water Leak Sensor

Great deal on a solid kit. I already had the hub, so I sold it on eBay for $73 and it went in about 10 mins.

My store (PA) also has a complete open box set for $88 as well. Solid deal, could easily flip on eBay for profit.

True, it has been cheaper. But this is the current best price, and not sure it has had the free water sensor in the past...

And regardless, $120 is a solid deal.

on average, would you say all of those sensors are worth about $35 each?

For the genuine Samsung ones, yeah I think that's about fair. Maybe $30. You can buy cheaper off-brand ones but people have reported varying levels of success with them.

Still $109 at my local store and the RMNot coupon for $5 makes it even cheaper, the tax at the store by me is 3.75% so the net is just below $109

ok, i might go by mc tomorrow and see what they have on the floor. i do not need the hub and the water leak sensor so if anyone wants it, that will make it easier for me to buy tomorrow if it's available. @$30 for the other 4 pieces will mean it's all profit if i can dispose of the two items i don't need.

I didn't need the hub either and was able to almost instantly sell it on eBay for $73. Probably could have gotten $80 or more for it. Sensors seem to sell reliably as well.

Check online - there was a complete open box one at the PA store for $88. Even slicker.

I am looking for the hub. This is the best price I am finding for the hub, but I never heard of Jan Mart. Is anyone familiar with this site? https://janmarts.com/Samsung-Smar...p102106569

Looks pretty shady to me... You can find them on eBay for around the same price.

bought the package from mc, total after tax $125.

listed and sold the hub (in under 4 hours) for $80 minus fees.

i can use the plug and the sensors but i'm going to sell the water sensor next (sold).

eta: i net $90 which means i spent $35 ($125 - $90) for 1 motion, 2 multipurpose, and 1 plug.
