How are these headphones, say compared to Phillips SHP9500?

Haven't used them, probably decent, but I might point towards the ath700x for a wide gaming-level soundstage. A Headfi user review of these says the soundstage gets wider with the cloth pads.

Not a fan of "on-ear" headphones...I prefer K240/M220, over ear and slightly wider frequency range.

Just a heads up, looks like the same design as the 240s. Be aware of the issue with the plastic pivot points breaking on both sides, which almost always breaks the solder points, leading to no sound. Plenty of YouTube videos showing the fix out there. Mine were fine after fix, but just in case...

Comparing both of them stock, I liked the SHPs a lot more in every regard other than isolation (given the SHPs are completely open, of course). The SHPs had more definition in the mids and a smoother bass.

They will say semi-open, but as a former owner of the K240... treat them as an open back in terms of leakage.
