Does anyone have any experience with this monitor? I'm looking for 2 to flank my Predator x34

Repost.

The previous post mentioned on Germany amazon has positive reviews, but it is a risk.

How does this thing compare to the Monoprice 27" 1440p 144hz TN Panel?

edit: nvm, this is only 60Hz, I'm out!

That monitor is a gaming monitor whereas this one is a semi professional grade monitor for Photo and video editing, content creation etc. If you're just looking for a gaming monitor then this is not the one for you.

For the price, the specs are good for me to use for photo editing. I'm in for one.

The warm preset is very close, its just very bright out of the box. I got one a few days ago and calibrated it using an i1 display pro and didnt have to change much.

Not sure if anyone will see this since the deal expired a while ago, but I'm wondering how people are liking this monitor. There were some positive reviews up on Newegg, but they're inexplicably missing now.

I actually got one as a backup/alternative to a Dell G-sync 27", which I ended up buying a week later when it went on sale.. So I'm trying to decide whether to keep the CB271HU bmidprx as a secondary monitor, or return it (unopened, so no restocking fee). I don't absolutely need a second monitor, but I'm sure I'd enjoy it, and it has the same general look of the Dell so they'd pair nicely. Any thoughts?

edit: A review on Newegg (now gone) mentioned that the CB271HU was actually Freesync even though it's not listed anywhere. Can anyone confirm this?

In case anyone wants to know about this monitor, I purchased this monitor and received it last week. The monitor is really nice for me the color calibration out of the box was perfect for my use( browsing the net, programming, video/photo editing)
Initially I thought that 27 inch would be too big for me but after using for few days I like this screen size. Perfect screen size IMO.
I am really happy about this purchase! Till I build my own pc/find a good deal I don't think I would be looking for another monitor.

Bought this guy.

Very happy with it at $230 total. Note that the monitor is kinda wobbly on its mount but I'm using a vesa so no problems there. It is 75hz via display port. I'm using as an arcade monitor and playing anything ps2 and older and I am one happy camper. 1440p, 75hz, ips, vesa mount, awesome.
