This price beats the last Front Page Deal for it by a few $$

BigSkyTool

Hitachi 23.9cc 2-Stroke 170 MPH Gas Powered Handheld Blower. [bigskytool.com]
(Grade A Reconditioned RB24EAP)

$69.97

Shipping is ~$8 but may vary slightly by zip code
  • The Hitachi RB24EAP blower features 23.9cc 1.13hp commercial grade two-stroke engine and is one of the lightest (only 8.6 lbs) and most powerful blowers in its class.
  • With an impressive air volume of 441 CFM and an air velocity of 170 MPH, the RB24EAP delivers excellent debris movement. It comes with a purge primer with an auto-return stop switch, which automatically resets to the ON position for easier starting and a large 2-finger throttle lever for easy operation.
  • The exceptional balance and lighter weight make it ideal for small cleanup, while it has the power to handle larger yard work.
For comparison, it's $129 at eBay [ebay.com] (non-refurb)

I own it and I recommended it, Usually starts with one or two pulls.

About 5 years ago I got this new for $79.99 plus $5 shipping @ Woot.

Very rare to see a new one for under $100 these days.

Had this and used it until I got an ego battery-powered unit. Worked great. Always used e0 fuel in it. Left side intake isn't great for right-handers, but that was my only complaint.

How is it compared to the ego. Love the ego but battery dies after 15 mins on turbo.

I love mine, bought it new at sears for $70-80 a few years ago. Starts first or second pull.

Whats the warranty on this refurb? The new one I think has a 5 or 7 year warranty.

Is this feels heavy to use for longer period of time?

Same here. Starts every time and it actually has pretty good power. Makes yard work a breeze. Also I think it came with a 10yr warranty....though I think the blower will outlast that. I've never even had to do maintenance on it once. Genarac power washer needs it routinely as does my honda lawn mower. I would buy this again if mine didnt run so good. Highly recommend.
