Good price for a deprecated piece of hardware. Most major online musician gear shops have stopped selling this device because of limited iOS support. There's also limited functionality because you can no longer monitor the audio since Apple eliminated the headphone jack. I was tempted until I saw the issues with the app and the inability to monitor while recording.

If you look at the app store, there was a 3 year gap between updates, that's pretty terrible support.

I'm using it with 11.3, and it works fine

No brainer for $10? How well would this work for making band demos? I've used the voice memo feature on my iPhone 7-plus and the results were surprisingly good. This should be better, right?

I bought this months ago when I saw it for the same price. It works great for the intended purpose. Much better mic's (stereo if you enable them) than the one built into the iPhone. True...you can't monitor unless you have an older device with the headphone port, but for sitting it down and recording - it works great. I guess the best use would be for acoustic and ukes.

Amazon questions say this doesn't work with iOS 11.

If this is true, then that's the ultimate deal killer.

It appears that they may have updated the app to fix this:

Can anyone confirm?

Had this for a while now and got it when it was $25. I was impressed, the mic is pretty sensitive so make sure youre in a quite room, and the iOS Focusrite Impact app can be buggy, but its bearable and works well. The 1/4" input records well, though not sure if it has a preamp. Used the Impact app, then exported it to iMovie and made some clips. Overall good buy (:

I'm guessing this doesn't work on Android
The app does not work with android. With that said, I have been able to get the actual device to work plugging it into my Galaxy S8 as well as my PC as a USB input device. So I can use the Mic and guitar input with PC and Android. I got this to use with Yousician app for better recognition and it works well but it has some bugs. If you are willing to tinker to try to get it working it is worth the $10. Even to have a 1/4" to usb interface for pc it is well worth it. I bought 3 of these a few months back at this price for Christmas gifts.

Note: The cord this comes with is unique in having usb micro on one side and lightning on the other. To plug to my PC I use the same kind of cable I would use to charge an android phone, usb side to pc and micro usb to the device. For android I have a 2 sided usb micro cable but I believe an otg adapter and a regular usb micro cord would work.
