Reposting since the previous thread was marked dead: https://slickdeals.net/f/11351407-nintendo-switch-224-with-sitewide-discount?v=1&src=SiteSearch

Manhattanproducts has relisted the Switch for the same price as before (280 minus coupon): https://www.ebay.com/itm/282877813014

Use PSPRING20 at checkout.

EDIT -- cheaper options may exist depending on your state!

Newegg also has it for 300 minus coupon: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo...2404967761

Play around and see which of the sellers gives you the best deal as some may charge tax to your state while others do not.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I doubt that was the case. Ebay had this same seller as an ebay daily deal back on Wednesday:

https://slickdeals.net/f/11342807-nintendo-switch-32gb-gray-console-279-99-free-shipping-ebay-daily-deal?v=1

They were selling the switch for $280 (same price as when the 20% coupon went live).

The fact that they made it to an Ebay Daily Deal means this is not a random seller, or a 1 guy operation in the back of his garage. You have to meet certain criteria and have been handling thousands of orders for several months for ebay to allow you to be a Daily Deal merchant. Even after you meet that criteria and are allowed to be an Ebay Daily Deal seller, you can only submit a sale and have to wait for ebay to approve it before it goes live and that can take weeks of negotiations between the seller and ebay.

Ebay knows that a Daily Deal can sell thousands of units, so before they go ahead and decide to choose a merchant as a daily deal I'm pretty sure they check the seller can handle such high volumes of sales, be it either through the account manager contacting the seller before going live with the sale or through other means. I doubt ebay wants to damage the brand and trust people have in it by making any random seller an ebay blessed Daily Deal seller.

Also, the fact that the original listing sold out and they relisted the Switch in 2nd listing indicates that manhathanproducts knew what was going on and made a conscious decision to keep riding the wave and sell more units. What I mean by this is that if the seller couldn't handle 5000 units sold, why in hell would he relist it and sell 1000 or 2000 units more.

So based on all that what I think really happened was that mahathanproducts did indeed have tons of units available for sell which they acquired for the Daily Deal sale. You can see from the listing history that the amount of stock/units (Quantity) was set ahead of the Daily Deal going live, and they intended to sale the unit at $280 with or without the 20% off coupon:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....7675.l2569

Then the Daily Deal went live on the 7th and the price of $280 stayed until almost they ran out of units on that listing on the 9th.

The people using Newegg as part of their rationale saying that "Even Newegg ran out of stock super fast and started canceling orders", yes that happened because Newegg was not the one planning for a Daily Deal Sale. In other words Newegg only had stock for a normal per month sale, were as manhathanproducts had planned ahead and got extra stock for the sale.

I also remember seeing that the item location on the relisted post changed a few times. It might have been an error on the listing, who knows, but when I saw that my guess was that they were shipping from a different warehouse. The revisions for that listing shows that they did indeed changed the location:

Those this mean that your order is not going to get cancel? No, I'm just saying chill out and wait. Is not even Monday yet, which is pretty likely when they are going to start shipping out units.

Also, when I placed my order the listing stated that they shipped within 24 hours. With 6000 units sold I'm not expecting that they will actually meet that shipping window. It is definitely going to take a week or so for them to go through shipping out 6000 units.

Note: Total speculation but with all the rumors that Toys R Us might actually close all their stores and all their money issues I wouldn't be surprised mahanthanproducts acquired all those units from Toys R Us warehouses.

Yeah not worth they need the revenue to fix our damns and roads. I've seen them as low as 200 from private sellers if you're patient
