This is perfect and what I was looking for. Got the 5 year because my CyberGhost subscription was running out. Like this better and plays better with my Nexus Player!

Thanks OP!

It's not. I bought the lifetime a month ago and regret it since. My connection is 200 down and I'm connected via ethernet. I'm getting about 30mbps down consistently. Using PIA, I get 130-150. This is garbage.

I max out my 80Mbps line when connecting to US servers otherwise 5-10 Mbps using European servers. For a $40 lifetime(how ever long that remains) I am content with it.

Yeah, i'm starting to realize it's either hit or miss. Sometimes servers are 100mpbs, most times not. You're right, 40 bucks for lifetime (which is what i paid also), I shouldn't be complaining as much. Hopefully they are upgrading their servers with the flood of subscriptions they are getting.

Can you use the VPN for TV streaming with, for example, Amazon Fire Stick? How to set it up?

I'd use a spare router with DD-WRT (or flash it on your main router if you feel comfortable with it). Setup a version of DD-WRT that supports OpenVPN and then use the Windscribe ovpn profile. Route it however you want but in my case I just have a second router that creates an alternative wifi network and is always connected to the VPN. When I want to use a device that I'd like to connect to the VPN i just switch over to that network and vice versa. Handy for playing Nintendo Switch games online as online play doesn't work because of network issues beyond my control.

I consistently get ~600Mbps...using default "closest server". Have you tried using a different server?
