Not on all the products. Bigger issue is how/where to properly store 600 cans for that time period.

It will do no one any good for the "end of the world" if they are heavily damaged in a flood/fire/theft, etc way before that.

I believe some think buying supplies would be the first step...when it should be one of the last.

Totally agree.
First thing I would do is have everything I need to hunt/fish and grow food. Also water filtration.
I have 10yr old seeds that are still good. Been growing my own stuff when I can.

Half that list if food I would have to get rid of as we won't touch it

Yo, give me $6k and I'll protect you if the Apocalypse occurs. Consider it better insurance than cans of food. You'd probably would rather end your own life than eat this for a full year. If things got that bad we are all dead. I could put your $6k to good use right now. Wink

If the apocalypse occurs people are raiding homes for food. Having 6K in food is just going to help feed the man with the AR-15 assault rifle that invades your home. I've watched plenty of the Walking Dead. #carl.

Step 1. locate free food from supermarkets they throw out

step 2. Dehydrate thoroughly

Step 3. stuff in metal canister and seal with oxygen/moisture packets inside

step 4. enjoy 30 years later when apocalypse hits. Save 6 grand.

You're welcome.
EDIT: ehhh make that 10-20 years tops actually.
