Read the reviews for water resistant mentions. Also be aware if you want to sit up ot not and that this doesn't allow that.

Edit: NOT WATERPROOF. Not made for wind or weather, made for your kids to play in the front yard with.

Look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yU-Bn4m3Hb4

The summary is, according Ozark Trail, "This tent is made for use in your backyard, in perfect weather ONLY."

So, only take it in a situation where you'll be 100% fine without a tent.

It's heavier than my 2 person. I'll get something bigger for my backyard camping.

Why on earth would you cram yourself into a glorified bivy sack for play? Seems pretty ridiculous.

It's a $10 backpacking tent! Check out the reviews and they're pretty positive. Sets up quickly, folds up easily, light to carry around.

(I'm noticing all the TD for "not a good product." Yes, there are better tents, but perhaps not for < $10. Peace )

i have this as a part of my budget backpacking setup. 10/10 would buy again, especially at this price. i've taken it in snow and rain. i agree may not be full storm proof but you could always bring a rainfly. i should go get a few for friends and Coachella.

You think this will fit 3 small kids?

That's because you're just as well off with no tent and $10 in your wallet. What's the point of wasting money on a relatively heavy tent that is useless? I'm guessing you've never been hiking, because you probably also don't understand the point of a quality sleeping bag.

$10 for my kids to play in it? Sure I'll drop $10. My backpacking tent requirements are met by REI.

Backpacking is VERY loosely used here. Please, for the sake of your life, don't expect to hike and camp anywhere with this.

Why? Thru hikers use a piece of parachute fabric and a footprint. This isn't worse than that. I use the Eureka 1-man with custom lightweight poles for thru hikes.
