Tires, the only point of contact with the road, are not a good item to cheap out on. You'll get what you pay for. I've never even heard of Laufenn. And Tire Rack mentions horrible wet traction.

there are now 647 full-line Kmart locations and 628 for Sears, for a total of 1,275.

The $24.98 is for INSTALLATION of tires, not the tires themselves. Did you even read the page you linked???

I just got these installed on my 1998 subaru legacy, uses 185/70r14, installation is FAR too. I live in CA so it hardly rains Stick Out Tongue

Sears page lists installation as free after rebate (poster below your post confirmed this worked). The tires are $38.99 each - $50 = $106ish all in..
