YMMV as last half of previous Best Buy thread talked about how unlock codes are not working on certain IMEI ranges now. That VZW is locking down new shipments.

Is this price 9 weeks out of 10 at either Best Buy, Walmart, or Target. So nope, not a good offer.

Not everyone needs unlock code. Isn't it a very good price for this phone?

T-Mobile has free E4, Aristo, as well as other phones, with purchase of $100 e-pin refill card. No fp sensor though. In-store only.

If you look at the previous FP deals, it was all about the unlock code to work on AT&T and T-mobile. 1 out of 10 were interested in VZW prepaid. That's why VZW decided to lock newer IMEIs b/c they were subsidizing phones to work on other carriers.

Seems to be a good offer for me only, because I can't buy in-store nor do I need an unlock code Smilie))

$60 is the normal price at Target. As others have said, newer phones will not unlock at this time. I just picked up an older IMEI at Target last week - it took 3 days to get my unlock code from ebay for $5.

Honestly, it's an OK deal at $65 + tax with all the hunting and waiting you have to do. But band 12 and 4 LTE connectivity seems iffy when on TMobile. My wife doesn't seem to care all that much, but if it were me, I'd just get the $120 unlocked version from Amazon. Or hop on the S8 Cricket deal for $350 and get a flagship for half price.

I guess today $60.00 is a decent deal for this really solid budget phone if you're gonna use it on Verizon Prepaid. It'll be more versatile after satisfying the unlock requirements from Verizon Prepaid.

I didn't either until I saw the deal.
