Been using it for the past hour and it's pretty good thus far. The integrated Roku works seemlessly.

You can't do it via the app. You have to use a browser. Still trying to figure out how to put a picture on the title.

for my uses which are really just sports and movies i prefer the picture, the blacks on the hisence are a little blacker and a little greyer on the tcl. The smart features are better on the tcl but if you already have a roku or firetv that wont matter.

Hoping someone can give me objective advice.

I'm looking to buy a 49" - 55" 4K HDR 10 TV exclusively and solely for Gaming. The set will be connected to an XBOX One X and a Gaming PC w/ GTX 1080.

There will be no movies or media playback on this set.

I currently have a non-HDR, very cheap, low end Toshiba 4K I bought Black Friday '16 for $199 that I'm looking to replace with HDR / better quality.

I'm looking at something around $400.

My local Costco carries this one for this price and I've been considering it.

I'm not too concerned about input lag. It's just not something that has ever bothered me too much.

What I do want is good color, PQ and HDR support. There are a few HDR games for both PC & Xbox and the number is slowly increasing. I don't believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that games will support Dolby Vision or HDR 10+, so I'm not concerned with those.

Brand isn't so important to me. Just a good gaming set for 4K HDR Gaming on Xbox one X and PC in the above price range.

Would you guys recommend this?

This or wait for the new TCL lineup coming out sometime this Spring. The new models look promising.
