This is not 2 x 8TB drives
This is 1 x 8TB drive, with 2x USB slots

MISLEADING Newegg title!

Newegg is now Chinese, owned by Hangzhou Liaison Interactive Information Technology Co. Ltd.

Drive gets a bad rep, maybe it's deserved with the latest batches... But I have to say, I have tried this model before and have had no issues personally.

I have to say - I misread the title the first time, and thought it was 2 of these drives for $150 -- would have been a crazy deal haha

The way its written does make it seem like you get 2 of the drives. There really is no point in advertising 2 USB 3.0 ports in the main title. As for these drives, Seagate drives have all been sucky lately in my experience. These drives are archive drives so they cant handle too many rewrites and have slower performance. These drives are made for you to store a bunch of info at one time on it and lock it away, to take it out every month or two to update but to not constantly access. If you plan on using this for a NAS media box or SVR you might be sadly disappointed.

dang, 2 x 8tb drives for $147? Seems like a heck of a deal
Lol this deal needs to get TD for how people keep misreading it. This is not 2 X 8TB drives, this is a 1 X 8TB drive with 2 USB X 3.0 ports.

Another reason to TD the best buy deals on the WD externals are at $150-160 regularly and are a lot better.

I bought this for $149.99 with Amazon prime shipping. Works great with the Xbox One X.

I have one. I love the hub as much as the storage size.
