I recently just bought the 2 kits of the CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3466 and it easily overclocked to DDR4-4000 18-19-19-36 @ 1.35v on my ASRock X299 Taichi. Might go even tighter, still testing.

Ram in general is still way over priced, but in this current market, $179 for 16GB kit that can do DDR4-4000 is a good deal IMO and they look awesome...

I bought the same kit and it's waiting to go into my new build. Pretty sure it's Samsung as well.

I paid $191 for it and was just credited the $13 back.

Oh I'm aware but seeing how they sold coffeelake by constantly putting a small quantity instock and changing prices means it was a game for them. Things have changed since they were bought out.

Newegg doesn't care... They will keep doing it if clueless or rich people keep buying at these price.

Everybody need to stop promoting overpriced computer parts as a slick deal! [giphy.com]

Very true. Even for 1600 DDR3 prices are still inflated. They have another "deal" going on for the exact G.SKILL 16gb kit I bought January 2016 for more than double than what I paid back then, even with their promo code.

yes it was cheap well sort of....once upon a time on amazon i thought i got robbed when i paid 80 bux for a 16 gb kit of corsair ddr4 3200 in white . Little i know what was about to happen laugh out loud

I also thought i got robbed by amazon when i bought a 16GB kit of Corsair RGB DDR4 3600mhz for 165. this was about 4 months ago. yep should have gotten 2 kits laugh out loud

Its not the miners fault though. Do u own a smartphone? its because of you laugh out loud

Yea, I purchased 2x 8gb kit Ripjaws V 3000mhz for $63.99 in 2016 (wish i'd bought another set at the time.)
Then it raised to $102 for 2400mhz when I built my friend's pc in 2017.
