Anyone know how this compares to the yeti or audio technica which almost every streamer has?

The Blue microphones (Yeti, Snowball, Snowball iCE) uses mini USB to USB connection. They do not include a pop-filter, although compatible ones are available for around $10 on Amazon.
That being said, RODE makes top of the line shotgun mics for DSLRs. And widely marketed by vloggers.

I was excited, I've been looking for a Rodent microphone forever!!!!

.. then realized it was just a RODE NT microphone. Badger and Muskrat Karaoke will be realized at some point.

If you haven't already, make sure to check and try different mic/recording settings before giving up on the AT2020.

The AT2020 is VERY sensitive, you just need to set gain levels to adjust for the loudness of your voice.

Also I typically stay within a few inches of the mic, the quality deteriorates significantly if you try talking from over a foot away unless you have a well insulated room

I know it would likely be complete overkill, or maybe not even work properly, but would anyone ever use this for a home karaoke setup?

I picked up an audio technica a few months ago but haven't been able to use it because the volume is way too low even with the settings turned all the way up; apparently this is a longstanding issue on Windows 10 with usb mics. None of the workarounds I've found have worked for me. So be aware that this is a potential issue if you get a usb mic to use on Windows 10. (Also, if anybody experienced the same issue and found a good fix I'd love to know about it)
