Decent deal. 1050 not so good for modern games.
1050 ti should handle most game at high, just not ultra.

Showing $715 for me. Was there a coupon for -$3 that I'm not seeing? LOL...J/k. Been looking at Lenovo Ideapad Y520 and Inspiron 7000 series a gaming laptops for my son. I'm not a gamer by any stretch. This appears to be much cheaper, but I've haven't heard of CyberPower before. Are they reputable?

You have to select the 256 gb m.2 ssd to see the 712 price. The 715 is with the 240gb m.2 sata III.

A friend of mine bought a cyberpowerpc from bestbuy last year and he hasnt had any problems.

Anyone have any idea what the size and weight of this laptop is? For some reason the info doesn't seem to be on their website.

Been around for over at least 10 years. Been making custom to order gaming computers for people when they first started out. Now they have prebuilds and sell in some stores once in awhile. Overall should be a pretty safe buy for you.

A bit confused trying to do comparisons, especially screen quality.

What is an Intel® Z175 Express Chipset?

Does this have an IPS screen?

No card reader?

Best I could use for comparison is another Cyberpower laptop that was not the slim version

Power Adapter 230W

Intel® HM175 Express Chipset
Built-in 4-in-1 Card Reader
2 USB3.1 Gen2 x2 (1 USB type C) + 2 USB 3.1 Gen

This one depending on what you're doing with it. Other doesn't have a graphics card.

I bought a cyberpower i7 laptop with a 965m during the Black Friday sales in 2016. 13 months later, the hinge broke when just opening up the laptop. The interior parts of the hinge now stick out and push the bottom right of the laptop screen bezel out. I contacted Cyberpower for assistance and they told me the warranty is expired and I should take it to a local repair shop. They havent responded back to me on how I can get replacement parts and it has been weeks. According to many other forums, their build quality and customer service are known to be terrible.

Guessing CyberpowerPC is not affiliated with SD for $.

Great deal for the specs.

7700hq
16gb ddr4
256gb pcie ssd with 2050/700MBs (Not the fastest but faster than budget gaming laptop with 500/400MBs SSDs)
gtx1050ti

also with some free game bundles.
