For the love of god, people - either post a good 1440p deal at this price or stfu about pixel density. Both have their places, and we don't need to argue about 1080p being good enough every time we have a 27" / 34" ultrawide 1080p deal.

While still relatively low-res, a 34" ultrawide is the same height as a 27" 16:9, so it's not that crazy. It's be much worse if it were a 34" 16:9 display.

FWIW: I got this from B&H for 200 around Black Friday. It has some issues with is decent. I'm not sure I would buy it again in lieu of a curved model.

I have this for gaming/chromecast streaming above three 24" dell ultra sharp infinityedge monitors for work. It is VESA which is a plus but the HDMI brightness is too high for my opinion. Also the screen outer edges has some type of residue from packaging and despite cleaning it I can't remove. It's barely noticeable so I just deal with it. I may just be really picky, however, and it is good for its price.

Got this last time. This is great for office work, coding and multitasking. 1080p is not issue at all.

I can't do this res, I'm out. Nice deal though.
With it being an ultrawide this isn't a horrible pixel ratio. It's no 4k but 1080 is completely viable at this size

Ultrawide doesn't change much. It's roughly equivalent to a 27" 1080 FHD pixel density. If you're using it for productivity/typical PC stuff, you'll definitely see the pixels. For entertainment from ranges further than 2-3 ft, it won't be terrible. Definitely not the ideal pixel density, though.

I just bought the 29UM60-P at Best Buy for 229.99 + tax , now this is 249.99 w/o tax is $20 more for 5 inches, I really like the 29 inch should get this one instead? I'm just worry about the pixelation at 1080p at that size, I'm just using for work and gaming but not that heavy, thanks

I got the 43" 4k Acer for $450. You don't realize until you upgrade how long you suffered with 1080p. That being said, still a nice deal for 34" but I would use the $250 and throw a couple hundred at it for at least 1440p or better. That and I am boycotting Buydig.com because they are horrible.

You must not do much coding/multitasking if you think 1080 isn't an issue... I want more space than my 30'' 2560x1600, surrounded by 24'' 1920x1200s all the time.
My single 27'' 2560x1440 at home is far from enough screen workspace when I'm doing anything real... Plenty for games though :-)

This monitor is great for multitasking. I use it above my 27" 4k primary. I use it to load up web pages while my 4k monitor is used for coding. It's good as a non primary monitor.
