Probably a re-print if they were previously rare right? Nintendo seems to be making an effort to un-rarify all the amiibo they didn't intend to be rare.

Likely no way to differentiate between the "original" and the "reprints". Don't know why people get caught up in that.

Because they stop being rare when another 100,000 get printed up. I certainly don't care but collectors do. Just wait til the market gets flooded with NES Classics this summer.

Actually collector's don't care. On the inside of an amiibo there might be some kind of number. And the original ones stopped at some number and the collector's know that number. So they would just go for the original ones.

I disagree with that. I highly doubt there's ever going to be a collector's market for Yoshi amiibo with only a certain NFC ID code. Something usually has to be visually distinct to create a market within a market, such as a different paint scheme or at LEAST a plainly evident serial number. Honestly though these will never be worth a whole helluva lot either way so the point is moot.
