ZOIC Men's Bike Cycling Liner Shorts are $16 for most common sizes (S, M, L, XL Now only 3X-Large) at Amazon. This is over 50% off regular retail price and these are well regarded liners.

Lowest price, per CCC, as well.

Great price for great liners. This is the newer design as well. Very comfy especially for 1-2hr rides.

Their premium liners are about double the price and more comfortable, but not necessary.

I'd jump in but I have enough liners and biking shorts to last me a while.
On the cheap side is these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O0F3BIO
I've used these on at least 50 rides over the last year under other shorts or something long depending on the weather. Still going strong. They are shorter with no band to hold them from bunching but with loose outer shorts they are perfect for me, they can bunch up a little when worn with tighter pants but even then, there isn't much to bunch up even if it does..

Can't speak for these but every other Zoic product I've purchased (jerseys and shorts) has run VERY small.

The mediums are available at the lower price still if you select Amazon as the seller.

The Zoic mountain bike shorts liner I previously have owned runs large and not small (and reading the product reviews seem to lean this way as well).

Take that with a grain of salt. Now reading (for Large):
Only 15 left in stock (more on the way).

Would this be good on stationary bikes or would the seats not be the appropriate size for these types of shorts?

I had that cheap one from Amazon and it was not good for me but everyone is different.
