It says in the Amazon posting... Aicok
Th plastic appears to be on the handle, lid and the base.

in for one. My 2 yr old Insignia Best Buy one just started leaking all over the counter. I think I paid $12 for that one a few years ago. That was completely plastic.

I bought a stainless-steel Zojirishu water heater for $120 around 2005...Still in perfect condition.

Invest more for a better product that will last longer and not put plastic in your water. It's water you're going to drink...no need to slickdeal your health.

Wow. I believe in paying more for quality but I don't think I'd pay $120 for a kettle...

Maybe like $50 max, idk maybe I'm cheap lol.

These $20 kettles usually last around 2 years max if you're lucky. I'm sure you can find a sale on quality kettles.

If you require/desire a gooseneck I really like my Bonavita (they're around $60 though):

I wish I got this kettle.. I got a clear glass one that works fine but if I were to ever touch the metal/glass.. holy cow.

I got one because I thought I'd start drinking tea a lot.. never happened but I use it all the time when I make pasta or anything that requires boiling.. it heats tap at double the rate (yes, I timed it lol) compared to an electric stove top (the flat kind, not coil) so yeah they're really useful.

If you ever eat anything like couscous (which is great with broth), all you have to do is put your water in the kettle, pour over the couscous, cover, wait 7 minutes and it's done! Sham-wow!

I must be super lucky then - I have a 5 year old one at home and an even older, cheaper one at work that each get used ~5 times a week and they're both going strong.
