I like these sets as they have a good number of C and D adapters and have nice hard cases to store them all. My battery strategy was to buy as many of these combo's as I thought I'd need C's and D's and then later I'll buy more AA and AAA on sale as needed. Once you take out a few C or D's, there's plenty of room in the cases for extra batteries later.

I think your original post was probably right and that 90% of Costco stores have it. I didn't mean to suggest you post was anything less than perfect. I'm just crushed that I can't get it at my local warehouse.
