EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING Graphics Card @B&H $1200 with free Intel 7700k

Saw that B&H had the EVGA FTW3 1080ti bundled with a free 7700k. Not the best price but given the market it is an ok deal if you could use the processor.

It definitely isn't for everyone. Just throwing it out there.

Good deal if you're looking for the 7700K Intel Processor -- that said, I went with AMD Threadripper.

This particular style of the 1080 Ti isn't readily in stock. So, you'll have to pay like $1050 or so to get it. Meaning, you're paying about $150 for the Processor, which is a decent deal.

Why the hell would B&H bundle it this way, though; kinda dumb, considering how picky people are about their processors. But maybe they had overstockof the 7700K. Who knows. Anyway, no need for thumbs down.

The only thing is that there are OTHER versions of the 1080Ti, which are waaay cheaper than this. However, if you have your heart set on the EVGA triple fan for whatever reason, and youre an Intel fanboy making a new computer, then here you go.

I don't know how many of you been looking at GPU prices over the last few weeks. Prices are not getting any better. Amazon sells this card for $929.99 if you can grab it in stock. It seems that prices for at least 1080 ti's have raised by around $80 since a little over a month ago. I fear prices for gpus will continue to climb. :/

Not a deal. Old CPU plus a marked up video card. If it was a i7 8700k, that would be a decent combo.

This processor for $350 is way overrated, much rather have a Ryzen 7 16 core for $50-$100 less. If you have to have a 1080ti right now I guess this might be a fix so no downvote.

I've heard good things about the ftw 1080 ti for mining. Don't think I'll replace mine with this... But this might be one of the best ones?

I'm just not lying. Everyone around you on this forum (in GPU threads) is probably a miner to some extent.

A solo 1080 ti can be worth leaving running sometimes and why not if the damn thing cost a gamer a thousand bucks. Might as well help pay for it.
