This stupid router seems to have 5ghz wifi issue as I've had been returning it multiple times because 5g keeps disconnecting. I'm on my 3rd from tmobile

Hack the firmaware to an ac68u then upload the merlin firmware. There is a guide on here from a previous post you can use. I followed that guide and have had 0 issues with the 5ghz network. Best router ive ever owned.
