No help button, no way to control individual components, no dedicated option or home buttons, no backlight, nonstandard battery.

If you are OK with these shortcomings, this is a great remote, otherwise nothing can beat my 700 yet.

They screwed up when they tried to make this a compact companion remote and assume people will rely on Cellphone app.

You always defend this remote admirably. But now you are getting a little condescending. My take is it is all personal preference. All of that person's gripes with the remote were valid.

As the owner of tons of different Harmony remotes, and all sorts of TVs and devices that they have used, you are being ridiculous if you think the Help button is never needed. And it is not user error, get over yourself.

I always get a big kick out of when someone types "your" followed by "not smart".

The harmony smart control w/hub is available for $60 on Amazon. That is $10 less than the usual FP deals.

It's a decent setup. But the remote is very small. Plus it has no built in lights. Small buttons and no lighting can really mess you up in the middle of a movie. I would have paid more for the larger backlit remotes from harmony. Just my 2 cents.

I bought this from last deal and here is what I found from using it. My main purpose is to control TV/receiver/entertainment system through voice control.
- Google assistant integration isn't native. Currently harmony supports "ask harmony to do xxx" instead of direct linking harmoy logi account. However, the shortcut features in google assistant can get around this.
- It's a little hard to find info about what voice commands are supported.
- I tried to pair it through BT on my PC and there is no windows driver from logitech. The device works mostly but in windows device manager there will be unknown devices showing up.

This remote is phenomenal. I had their larger LCD one and I hated it. Works AMAZINGLY with my setup:
Amazon TV, Apple TV(w/DirectTV NOW as primary TV),Xbox1,PS4,SoundBar all behind a cabinet.

It took some time to make it do what I want (not for non-techies, guess you could pay amazon guy to set it up for you) but this has been exactly what I looked for.

Don't listen to the haters! It took me less than two days to learn every button by feel. The layout is second to none.

This remote blows away the 700. Not even close. I can't imagine having to actually point a remote control any more. Unlike the 700, this remote is as fast as you can push the buttons.

Use the app if your not smart enough to program activities. Controlling individual components is for people without the skill to properly set up activities.

I have no idea what a "dedicated option" is. Any button will work as a home key. I hold the guide button for a second. I had a 700 for years and never needed a help button.
