Hmmm last year's model and it seems to have mediocre reviews from checking around.

Have a similar 70inch, great overall buy, but don't expect anything like an OLED. I'm looking to upgrade and don't want to spend more than $2k... this is tempting...

Was just looking at the Sams Club version of this on display. Nice TV but definitely not very bright. Possibly using the same number of LEDs as smaller 70" models but more spread out. Says it supports HDR but the brightness won't be near the requirements.

Very poor quality picture. Pay a bit more and get the 82" MU8000.

The 2018 Vizio E80-F3 hasn't even been released yet. I am sure most people realize that a $1400 discount will not be on a new 2018 model.

I have no issue buying last year's model, I was just worried about the mediocre reviews everywhere I looked.

I agree. $2000 is too much for a TV with low picture quality.
