Edit: Sorry, new to this and the Mods removed two of my links. But the one listed below is also a better price than I've normally seen.
Not sure why so many negative ratings, but I'm glad those that do appreciate the post got some use from it.

I've been watching these and currently, there are a few on sale. All seem to have good reviews and rate high on Fakespot. No tax, plus free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime

Not sure where all the negativity/TD is coming from. If you want to hang your Dot from an electrical outlet (something I'd never even considered before), this seems to be a reasonable way to do so. Don't think I'll do it, but, I can see where some folks may want to.

As to this product: 331 reviews on Amazon, only 7 reviews (2%) with 1 star, two reviews with 2 stars, six reviews (2%) with 3 stars, twenty-three reviews (7%) with 4 stars, and 294 reviews (89%) giving it 5 stars. Not too shabby. Far better than the reviews for the Dot itself:
5 star 67%, 4 star 14%, 3 star 8%, 2 star 4%, 1 star 7%

Fakespot gives this a "C" . . . tempted as it looks useful, but sick of this whole fake review industry!

IMO, as most AC outlets are behind furniture and such I don't see this as being a good way to mount a Dot. I think a better way to mount them would be using an existing shelf or hanging them as you'd hang a picture.
