Found in store as well. $20 cheaper than last front page deal.

This is the XL variety

3ds xl, the XL is important

I have no idea if linking this is allowed but I bought this one

It has a small switch that you can use to go from NTRboot mode back to being a DS flashcart. Running original DS games off a flashcart works better than putting the roms straight onto the system.

Also that website ships from Michigan, most ship from China, took like 3 days for it to arrive.

I bought this deal for $200 a few weeks ago, slightly bummed but oh well. If you're curious about hacking it, it comes with firmware version 11.5 so you'll need an NTRboot flashed flashcart.

I keep debating on whether or not to get this since I already have the Switch. It has dated hardware, but a huge library of games. But, my game time is pretty limited.

Yup, game time trump's great deals. What's the point buying something if you can't invest in it?

Just buy a $40 used 2DS. The "New" model hasn't offered anything worthwhile except faster loading times in menus

Aren't there some games that only work with the New 3DS?

Yep, off the top of my head, Xenoblade Chronicles and all of the SNES Virtual Console games

Where does one obtain such a flashcart?

This is an incredible deal. It helps that it comes with a charger and 2 physical copies of the games.
