Pretty solid price. But no way does that battery last anywhere close to 8.5 hours. Maybe on idle without WiFi on.

Apart from Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series gaming laptops, don't expect much battery life from any of these gaming laptops. probably 4 to 5 hours at max with very moderate use and 30% to 40% screen brightness.

I was comparing this with the Lenovo Y520 ($598 on Frontpage). After I configured that Y520 to GTX1050 Ti, it comes to $760. So Nitro or Y520?

As the other posted mentioned, Dell Inspiron 7577 deal I have posted is the best value for money. However, if you cannot go over $700 then this one is better than Y520 with GTX 1050ti because that comes with HDD whereas this has SSD.

Correct, Costco has this for $650 + Manufacturer Warranty doubled by them. Purchase on the COSTCO Visa and it is doubled from there to 4 years.

$650 + tax + 4 year warranty seems reasonable?
