Got all endings and all side quests. The game is good and worth $29.99 but is way too overhyped by horny teenagers who's never experienced good story from SNES-PS2 era before. PS3/360 era is when most developers shifted to iterative fast food business model.

The game is too easy on normal and there is a lack of endgame content, as by ending C you are way over leveled and after. Most enemy levels don't scale (strangely some wild boars and moose do) and going for completion post E is boring.

There is not much to do and the "open world" is really really tiny. Plus is that all side quests add to the story and have some shocking reveals regarding those side characters.

Soundtrack is good but the way it's composed and layered to fit a video game make it repetitive. You'll want to buy the vinyl but will be bored of it before the disc arrives from Japan.

Still, one of the most unique and best of 2017 though. The attention to little details is astounding that elevates the game to the level of an artistic experience rather than your slice them ups. And I haven't been awed by this level of craft in any media in a while. Just wanted to offer some objectivity.

I can't praise this game enough. I will always remember this game for the rest of my life. The story really takes advantage of the video game medium in how it's told, and I was emotionally invested in the characters from start to finish.

Best Buy regularly has the new game on sale for $24. I had $20 worth of rewards certs to use, so I picked it up for $4.50ish.

This could be extra great for anyone that participated in the get $15 for $100 promo recently and haven't picked this up yet.

So if you're on the fence about it, wait until the codes are sent out.

Codes for the $15 are to be sent on or before 3/16/18 via a message on your console.

Worth the price, this version is better than the PC version.

I just picked this up used, last Thursday, at Walmart, for $21.89. They're currently out of stock but they keep restocking it, so you have to keep watching. Disk and case were in perfect condition. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nier-A...4/55985675

There aren't many games with a story on the level that this game has presented though. Only ones that I can think of are xenogears and xenosaga. While some snes titles had good stories none were really close to the level of this game or the previous ones i mentioned.
Also, you probably shouldnt say the game is too easy if you played it on just normal, difficulty levels exist for a reason.

The game is definitely worth getting at this price for anyone who hasn't yet played it.

Just finished all 4 main endings of Nier and absolutely loved the game. I haven't even gone back to finish all the side quests yet!

I don't know that I can play a game that only picks up around hour 12, but I'm glad it's resonating with a lot of people.
