Whole thing makes no sense. Why would they give away $300 watches for a one month sub to DTV Now when they currently offer $179 Apple TVs for 3x the commitment? Also, a month of the cheapest DTV Now package is $35, not $10.

It would also stand to reason that you have to be an AT&T cellular customer for this deal.

Maybe because DTV Now is awful and they just want to inflict pain? laugh out loud

Ouch, two year commitment to DTV Now for it? Even at the cheapest plan, that would cost you over $800 for 2 years. Terrible deal. Even if you plan to keep the service, never know what may come along in that much time.

Just called AT&T.

Asked about the deal, she said there is a contract for the watch. I said "oh, I heard there was no contract at all". She went and talked to "the back office" and got it approved.

DTVNow 1mo for $10 (no contract here)
Gear S3 watch is completely free and also no contract when tied to my current phone number.

She also said she found an offer to lower my 6gb data package by $20 a month.

HOT DEAL OP. THANKS!

When I talked to the rep she initially said that. I said "oh, I heard the offer was no contract at all". She "checked with the back office" and came back telling me "I was approved for no contract"

Try back?

I don't have AT&T for cell service and the agent stated I would need to get AT&T service for the watch with a 2 year contract to get the promo
