Yeah um... I would never risk getting cheap chargers from Fleabay.

You're getting an amazon backed charger for $7. This is the 100% safe route.
Will Amazon pay for your 3DS repair/replacement if it incurs damage for some odd reason due to a fault with the charger? No thanks, I'd rather stick with the official OEM charger rather than quibble over a couple of dollars. No matter how unlikely, some risks are simply not worth it. Not for what you are talking about here.

I specifically said "original/OEM" chargers, on ebay, used obviously. always better than any aftermarket ones

Sorry, just saw your reply.

I would be extremely skeptical of any advertisement of "Original/OEM" by 3rd party sellers because 99% of the time they're fake. It's an extremely common issue with Apple accessories. Let alone used, not worth it. Amazon backed charger and warranty is nothing to scoff at. I use Amazon accessories more than OEM ones as some of them are even better.

Actually yeah I could definitely see them reimbursing you if the charger breaks your device. Amazon is a really big company so if they have a defect, they would be on that immediately.

Again, you look for USED ones on ebay sold by normal people, not new ones. obviously look at the pictures to see if its a real one
