I personally buy most of my electronics from Costco and this seems like a very good deal if your looking for a tablet but want more functionality than an Ipad/Android Tablet.

***Must be a costco member to purchase, or at least know one and use their membership***

Shipping is $9.95 or free warehouse pickup. It was available at all the stores near me.

That's 1280x800, I think office depot has the higher res for 199... But I might be missing some glaring difference. https://www.google.com/shopping/p...fTEALw_wcB

edit...
looks like less on-board storage card and memory, better screen, eh

I couldn't find anywhere that states that it does, so I assume it doesn't. I wouldn't think a low end product like this would.

I think the fact that you get the 2 year warranty plus costco concierge service adds value. Also no where else is going to give you a 90+ day return.

The Venue 8 Pro did and was in the same price range, not an unfair question

I picked it up a week ago. No active pen support. Tried it.

The resolution is indeed lower compared to the one on other pages including Lenovo web store.

I ultimately will return it because mine has a flawed touchpad which makes a clicking noise every time you touch it. It seems to be loose. Might just be mine.

BTW please don't go below 4GB Ram. No matter what use case you have for your device.

I wouldn't be so quick to make that claim. Low-end devices with active pen support have become increasingly common in the past 1-2 years. Examples -

Acer Spin 11.6" [amazon.com]

ASUS Vivobook Flip 11.6" [ebay.com]

Touch screen tablets are excluded from the extra 2-year warranty. Would this be considered that?

Really sorry I sold my ASUS netbook that I had upgraded to 4gb ram with 500gb hdd years ago.... But this seems nice. As a backup portable, a poor man's surface....

Sucks I checked 2 stores for this and they did not have so ordered online.... I actually bought a Dell 11 for $294 from WMT (store price cheaper than online)

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dell-I...s/55315115 with 4gbb/500gb hdd,

not bad but heavy for size. Once I get this I will return that.
