Hi ElanX,

If you can figure out what firmware is associated with the cameras and NVR, they should - though I have not read anyone doing so on ipcamtalk - however I have not searched either, nor have I looked at other forums.

Note - I do believe Q-see modifies their firmware less than Lorex - so it should be closer to the base firmware.

The IVA is not working properly not sending snapshots and setting via web browser are not being saved. So make sure to test these in your nvr. Tech support wasn't able to resolve this issue. Let's see what happens. They said next level tech support will call

Hi Hemi

It took me a bit to figure out the IVS features on the Dahua OEM NVR I picked up.
iirc turned out there was a check box I missed the first time around.

Recommend looking at ipcamtalk for info on it, and also look at the Dahua wiki.

Hi Hemi,

A number of us had similar issues with an Dahua OEM NVR - newer firmware fixed a lot of issues we were having.

Hi HRH35,

The consensus from those on ipcamtalk who have bought / used them, as well as the moderators who have watched reolink spam and astroturf the ipcamtalk forum, is that Reolink is not a good company and their products are a poor purchase option compared to Dahua OEM and Hikvision OEM products you can find.

Thank you Mat,
The reason I asked because I have one friend and he is a tech guru and I trusted him. He currently using this Reolink model and said this is much better than Hikvision one. I read on IPcamtalk last night and saw all the neg review.

Could you please recommend some Dahua OEM that cheap and where to buy them.
Thank you
