Decent deal.. Per CCC, lowest was $150 so basically paying $25 for accessories.

No, normal deal as it's been this price (with promo code) many times. I got mine over a year ago for $149.

In addition the newer model of this (N79s) has been around op's price recently.

Is this the best entry level vac at this price? Any major features missing that would make this one a deal breaker?

At $150, it's fine. I wouldn't really pay anymore than that esp. with a newer model out.

Tbh majority of these aren't even slick deals. They are just normal sales. There should be something in place to be considered a Slick Deal. If this was $100 lower + accessories, ID consider it a Slick Deal.

Ever since I got this I never see any more tumble fur balls from my cat or dog's fur. Totally worth it.

I have both the N79 and the new N79S. There isn't a signifant difference so I wouldn't hesitate to save a few bucks with the older N79. Couldn't be happier with my Deebots.

I have both. 79S is Alexa enabled and has max power mode which has much stronger suction. Other than that they are the same but I would definitely get the 79S over the 79. I replaced my Neato botvac after a ton of research and have been pretty happy with it. Biggest difference is it doesn't map the room or clean in a logical manner like the Neato but it also doesn't get stuck like the neato did. Since it it uses semi random movements an area will get cleaned several times until it runs out of battery (which is several times longer than the neato lasted). Overall very happy with it and surprised given how cheap it was. We'll see how long they hold up, my neato lasted many years before needing to be replaced

Ditto. Amazing how this also lessens the amount of fur sticking to your clothes.

I have the deebot n78 December 2016 for $180 and it's been great ! We have it run in our kitchen / living room every other day and it works real well. We have hardwood and a big thick surface rug and doesent get stuck often. Very impressed exotically for the price. Might get the higher end deebot in a year or so.

My N78 (v2, no mop) works great. It was $130-$135 last summer when replaced by N79. Running around right now. Always surprised how much I empty out of it for a non-brush drunk robovac.
