Hi,

this may be a little off topic.. If so, I apologize, and more move this to thread.

My question is which microSD is good for dash cam? I used a Sandisk Ultra on one. After like 9 months. The dash cam indicated that the memory card is start to degrade, and tell me to c hange one asap. So, my question is, is this a good one for dash cam? which one is good enough for at least 5 yrs ?

Thanks in advance.

It's recommended that you use a high endurance card for the constant write /rewrite from a dash cam. That being said have have the orange Samsung evo cards in my 3 dash cams for the past 2 years and I have yet to replace any of them.

Just popped this card in my phone after getting it on Friday, used ADB to format it as system memory and WOW, it is fast. Got the other bulk one for $10 cheaper to toss in the Fire HD7 which is a U1, don't really care about speed in that anyways.

Tried to rep you OP but it says I need to spread some around before I can so when I can I will!
Great find though, this is by far the cheapest I've seen for a class10 U3

Just a reminder that it is worth testing your cards when you get them. I very recently purchased one of these 64Gb cards from and used. H2testw. It found some corrupted sectors. It was only 448 sectors out of 125034048, so without testing, I probably would have used it for a while before getting silent corruption. Amazon sent me another and that checked fine.

Hey, look, another post about a card that has been this price for months. In fact, it is less common for me to NOT see it at this price.

Please do tell where to find a class 10 U3 128GB MicroSD for $40 with free shipping.
I checked BB, Adorama, B&H, and several others and no where near this price for one.
