The rebate processor (4MyRebate [4myrebate.com]), has been around for a long time. They do send the rebate payments . They also do sometimes make mistakes.

The processor is also rather untimely:

Company tends to send the rebate payments rather late. It is normal for this processor to send payment about two months after the maximum time they are supposed-to.

Company is slow to respond. If an email is sent to the company, it will take much longer (like a few weeks) than what the company quotes to resond.

EDIT: Also, it is worth noting that the company used to use rather, notably time consuming rebate claim forms. They have recently (within the past few weeks) changed to less time consuming form, but prints on two pages if printing on Letter size (8.5" x 11") paper.

Damn, $5 is very tempting. Just got the outdoor 2MP for $23 AR from them and this one is the same brand for indoor with P&T, just missing zoom feature and only 720P.

What is the catch here? Low quality? Buggy? Unclear sound?

There is usually a reason why it is so cheap.

One has to submit a mail-in rebate claim.

Small, low-quality (but typically still rather usable) cameras have now become much less expensive than they used-to be and there now appears to be more price competition in this area.

The black is $59.99 No rebate so I guess the catch is the color white.

I bought the 2MP outdoor listed in the same page of this camera and quite happy about quality of it. Will see about this indoor one when it's here.

Don't forget your favor cash back site and 2 days shipping for ShopRunner.

Anyone have rebate experience with this company? I haven't done rebates in a long while.

Here you go:
http://images10.newegg.com/upload...18py05.pdf

Also here is the URL to the rebate (to get around the Slickdeals.net forums changing of the link):
Code:

Ah yea I know that processor. I couldn't see the rebate terms anywhere as I clicked through the mobile sd app. For the most part they have come through in the past but like you said super slow. They also offer a faster rebate if you take a smaller amount which is BS. In the past I remember newegg was pretty specific about only accepting rebates with their requested invoice and not just the shipping or order confirmation. That messed me up one time, hopefully someone reading this may avoid that. I'll probably pass on this as I've already have a Wyze cam preordered that has been constantly pushed back on shipping dates.
