if you learn the basics of metabolic pathways, the body actually prefers to resist converting amino acids to fatty acids. excess calories (regardless of source) is more accountable.

whey is arguably the highest quality protein (in biological value, amino pofile, and beneficial subfractions) and certainly helps those reaching desired protein intake that they struggle with food sources.

Thanks, I was just about to run out of my Chocolate smooth. Great price at $25 a bag or $4.5/lb. And a free pouch of creatine to boot.

Seems like Myprotein has alot of deals. Hesitant to buy it just because I'd be sitting on so much protein. Still working on my last 11lb deal....

Correct me if I wrong, but I believe this is one of their better price reductions.

It is a good price, but these deals come often enough that people are stocked on protein even when the next deal shows up.

I'm still stocked up from the last one too

I have been skeptical in the past given that I only ever hear about this protein on Slickdeals, and the "Labdoor" company that provided initial test results is pretty sketchy.

However, I did find several hundred reviews of MyProtein concentrate on Amazon - average rating was 4/5 and no issues per Fakespot. ON Gold Standard has 4.5/5 stars and no issues per Fakespot.

So, it's probably a decent, low price protein. I personally will wait until I see some more recent and reputable testing before I purchase instead of ON or a more established brand, but I am risk averse.
