Does anyone know if the chase bonus applies to student accounts? My sibling recently turned 16 and I remember around that age I had one, and got a bonus. I believe it's a separate type of account though so I don't know if the $300 applies.

They have different checking account for college students,

https://www.chase.com/personal/ch...t-checking

And you just get $50 bonus. Not sure if they can open regular total Checking account. You can check with customer care.

They keeps on changing it was $200 from 2 months or so I have been watching, even I saw it this morning. Even on all sites where they list the banks giving account opening bonus it was showing $200. Unless you get it on your mail it was $200 from last few months.

off-topic! Is there any SD thread for Robinhood? I need to know more about it. You can direct me to any other website too that explains the details/how to approach/start in Robinhood.

I applied online and it worked as well. I also sent coupon on email and got that too. Basically you don't need coupon for applying online.

I'm self employed, what counts as a "direct deposit from employer"
