Ridgid Gen5X Brushless 18V 4 Piece Combo Kit w/2 4.0Ah Batteries (YMMV) $280

Came across some of these "Limited Edition" Ridgid tool kits marked down at my local Home Depot this evening. I don't know what the normal price for this set is (I have a set of Makita cordless tools, so haven't been looking), but this seemed like a great price for 4 very useful (brushless) tools with 2 lifetime warrantied 18v batteries and a charger.

Tools include: Hammer Drill, Impact Driver, Circular Saw, Angle Grinder, 2 4.0Ah Lithium Ion 18v Batteries, Battery Charger, Bag

The original price was $399, marked down to $280.

FYI, this was at the HD in Reston, VA.

I bought it for $300 a couple of weeks ago. Good set. Wish it had the impact wrench instead of grinder.

This kit was $300 on Black Friday when I got it. Then it went to $400. The HD near me has them for $280 now too. It's a great kit.

this was posted a few months ago, and even then it was very hard to find...

great deal though, it's a damn good set, for a great price. i own the regular gen5x brushless drill, driver and saw, all 3 are fantastic.

Picked one up today. They even gave me an extra 10% off since it was last one.

I almost bought this last weekend. Went with the 3 piece Makita instead since that deal had a reciprocating saw. That deal was $210.

I Love my Ridgid. If I saw this deal I'd pick another set up to have for work.

Use brickseek.com to check if your local HD has inventory.
SKU: 629333
Internet #: 301913908
UPC: 648846070063

If brickseek shows your local store has inventory, good luck getting an employee to know what you are looking for. Your best bet is to wander the store and look at end caps and look around the pro desk for a display. If you still dont see them laying around down on the floor level, check the stock above the tool aisle for obvious Ridgid tool sets or plain brown boxes labeled with the SKU of 629333 (just look for anything ending with 333).

They have several left at the store in North Little Rock. Sign still shows $399 but rings up $280.

How!!!??? That doesn't make sense a bit.

I'll cross post since there seems to be multiple threads on this and they haven't been merged.

For those of you in SoCal, I went to the Oxnard, Goleta, and Thousand Oaks Home Depots which showed stock in their systems but turned out to be wrong so don't bother.

Last night, I was in the area and dropped by the Home Depot in Canoga Park on Roscoe Blvd and was finally able to snag a set for $280.

For anyone that is interested, they still had 6 sets left as of last night.
They are not out on the floor, they are way up on the top of the left shelf when you are standing staring at the "Power Tools" area, you can see them if you are in the next aisle over and look up.
It needs to be accessed by one of their ladders from the next aisle over to the left.

For those near Newport News, VA -
I spotted 4 of these yesterday @ $280 on the front wall near the Pro Desk.
This was at the HD on Jefferson across from the airport.
