We just bought this one because after looking at a lot of different designs, this one seemed the most sturdy and had 4.5 star reviews. The drawers are almost like a ball bearing design, similar to a tool box. We currently have a KitchenAid that we aren't happy with. The drawer is flimbsy, never has cleaned that well.

Also, I joined SYW and saw the $50 Sears coupon. Did you have to do something special to get the $65?

It's on sale at Lowes as well. Not quite as sweet of a deal but add a 10% off coupon and you're at about $530 plus tax, but it's less effort than the Sears deal.

Good deal. But reviews say cleaning is so-so? Anyone has any experience?

Lowes price is showing $649 before 10% coupon. How did you get $530?

I have the GDT635, which is pretty much exactly the same washer except it's a hybrid instead of full stainless steel. I'm happy with it. It has a decent amount of room, it's quiet (the 655 should be even a touch quieter due to the full stainless steel construction), and it cleans very well. The biggest flaw is that turning on all the "perks" makes the cycle very long. A heavy duty wash load with sanitizing and heated drying takes about five hours. I'm not sure if the full stainless steel tub might cut those times a bit, especially on the drying front.

Despite the long cycle times, I'm very happy with it. This is a really good deal.

Does either Sears or Lowe's offer free install and Haul away of existing? Doesn't look like it. Once I add installation and required parts I'm up around 800. Plus tax and it's $857

Yes, I have done a few. They are relatively easy if there is an existing one.
